The term Millennials, you here about it. Do you know for sure who these people are? And do you really know their position?

First of all, Millennials are children of the Baby Boomers. The U.S. Census Bureau counts them as born between 1982 and 2000.

Millennials are the largest group in the history of mankind. There are more women than men.

This generation is more racially and ethnically diverse than any group before. Millennials are digital natives, they grew up with technology all around and are comfortable with it. This is opposed to the older generation, who has had to change to learning technology while being scared of it.

Millennials are saving money, but not investing it. They are shying away from stocks. The Great Recession had a devastating impact on them. High levels of unemployment among young people just as Millennials were beginning in the workforce, may have caused long term economic and social damage according to experts.

A study by Wells Fargo found that 20 percent say they will never invest in the stock market.

One final thing about Millennials: They are a very educated generation.
