This Spielberg movie has been on my radar since the trailer first teased us.

Think Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory, but switch our candy for video games and unlimited 80's and 90's pop culture.

Ready Play One is based on the book by the same name, and anytime you make a book into a movie you will not make everyone happy.

I will say this I was one happy movie lover after the almost 2 1/2 hr. adventure, so if you have a small bladder you might want to skip the large drink.

If you grew up in or lived through the 80's and 80's you will thoroughly enjoy all the pop culture reverences. And even if your kids don't catch them the movie keeps moving so quickly it will pass right by them.

My only complaint is more of something is a personal preference for any film, I don't need a soundtrack cranked to a 10 to keep my attention. The music selection was fun, but at times way more than what was needed to keep the energy level up.

I base how much I like a movie on wither it's good enough to see again, and then the next level is if it is good enough to own. I will be buying Ready Player One.
