From First Alert Weather Center Meteorologist Aaron Doudna

The sunshine will be back Friday. Highs today will be in the upper 60s and low 70s making for some comfortable conditions. We may see clouds increase through the day up north and out west.

We're tracking a quick moving system for Saturday that looks to bring some rainfall back to the area. The best chances to see rain will primarily be across central and southern South Dakota along with northern Nebraska and northwestern Iowa. Highs on Saturday will only reach the upper 60s.

Sunday we'll see a mix of sun and clouds with highs getting back into the lower to mid-70s.

Next week is when our weather pattern changes significantly as a ridge of high pressure will build in and force much warmer air into the Midwest. Highs next week will be in the 80s throughout the entire week with some spots cracking 90 degrees as early as Monday and Tuesday.
