Hottest weather of the year sets in this week with excessive heat.

We will be mostly sunny as we go through the rest of our Friday.

Warming up into the 90s and 100s for highs.

The haziness in the skies will continue for the next several days and we may see some thunderstorms at times over the weekend.

The stage is set for showers and thunderstorms, and some of which could become strong to severe today for the Sioux Falls area.

It will be dry today, but eyes on the threat for strong to severe thunderstorms.

Dry today but more rain chances this week along with cooler temps in the 70s and 80s.

Showers and thunderstorms will continue this week and much cooler.

Sunny and hot with a few storms for the 4th of July.
