Tri-State Horse Expo is a Blast!

Kickin' Country is proud to team up with The Tri-State Horse Expo going on March 17-20 in the Expo Building at the Sioux Empire Fairgrounds. If you've been out that way you've already seen a ton of pickups and trailers. And horses!

Friday morning Dan, Peyton and Breyden invited me out to ride in the Horseman's Challenge again. Hey, I'm no bronc rider and I'm not into the timed events, but this Horseman's Challenge is something I could get into. It's basically a timed trail event. They put some obstacles up in the arena and you and the horse have to do it as quick as you can.

This year I was once again riding 'Cola,' and I have to say we did pretty good. Last year I took it easy. This year I was a little more clock conscious. With a little outside work, Cola would be a great horse for an event like this.

The weekend is chock full of awesome events including SDRA Rodeo, National Little Britches Rodeo and MORE!  Plus, there are a ton of vendors! If you're looking for western wear or tack you can find it there this weekend!
