I was going to title this post "First Time in Fargo," because it's about things I did for the first time in Fargo. But I thought it gave the wrong impression, because this was actually my second time in Fargo.

Anywho, moving on to the point of the story.

I was in Fargo to see Bruno Mars in concert and along the way I got to experience a couple things for the first time.

For one, I took an Uber for the first time. We thought instead of dealing with paying for parking and the craziness that is getting out of the Fargodome parking lot, we would just get dropped off and picked up right at the front door.

I downloaded the app and everything. Our driver's name was Garmonyu. We waited for his Nissan Altima to arrive and I gotta say I was nervous waiting. I mean a stranger is coming to pick us up and he has my name and phone number!

First, a Buick pulled into the parking lot and I got nervous because what if this guy says he's Garmonyu, but he's in the wrong car! Do we still get in and just hope not to die? The Uber drivers should have signs on their cars like Pizza Hut or Papa John's.

But a couple minutes later Garmonyu showed up and all was right with the world. He was a great conversationalist. He lived in Maryland before North Dakota. He likes Fargo better. He's been driving for Uber for about a year. He was nice enough to put up with all my dumb questions so I tipped him well.

The other thing I did for the first time was chop someone up in a woodchipper. J/k! I didn't really, but the Fargo/Moorehead Welcome Center has the legit woodchipper from the movie Fargo. It's even signed by the Coen brothers and everything.

The guy that works there is obviously accustom to taking people's pictures with the famous woodchipper. He had hats ready to wear and everything!
