Although the park officially began the roundup back in 1965, it has actually been going on at Custer for a much longer period of time than that.

It's springtime in South Dakota and that means new wildlife babies. The first buffalo calves of 2020 have been spotted at Custer State Park.

I had the opportunity to check an item off of my bucket list this last weekend. I attended the 54th Annual Buffalo Roundup in Custer State Park.

The annual Buffalo Roundup is Saturday and the Arts Festival is Thursday through Saturday at Custer State Park in the Black Hills.
