Survey: ‘Minnesota Nice’ Doesn’t Exist In This Metro Area

I've heard of the expression "Minnesota Nice" but according to a survey, there is one metro area in Minnesota that apparently struggles with the concept.

Rude behavior takes many forms. Obnoxious habits, impatient people, and bad drivers can ruin the day of a person who is the recipient of said behavior.

When rude cities come to mind, many people might think of New York City and they would be right. The Big Apple took the top spot as the rudest city in America in this survey.

But there is one metro area in Minnesota that has made the rude city list from Business Insider; Minneapolis-St. Paul came in at number 47 on the list.

According to the survey, 1.6% of the respondents felt that the Twin Cities had the rudest citizens in Minnesota.

But wait, there is more. The Twin Cities area also is the worst region in Minnesota when it comes to rude drivers according to Insurify.

The survey found that 0.88% of drivers had a rude driving violation, such as tailgating, on their record, higher than the state average. They say the metro was also ranked as one of the worst cities in the country for commuters.
