Still Waiting for Six Lanes on Russell Street

The wait will soon be over as in early November, but for drivers who have to use Russell Street in Sioux Falls it’s not soon enough.  

From Interstate 29 to Western Avenue all lanes are open for vehicles both east and westbound.  Between Western and West Avenue that stretch is used for transition to work yet to be done for the eastbound stretch toward Minnesota Avenue.

There is more concrete work to be done to finish this segment of the project as you can see in the clip.  Thankfully that means coming from the west to reach the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center will be a much better option than trekking from the east on Russell.  Same principles apply for when you leave.
