Molly the dog and I decided to take a walk around one of Sioux Falls nicest parks yesterday.  It was cloudy and cool, except for when I snapped this picture on the Galaxy S3 I use courtesy of Sprint-Sioux Falls.  It was an awesome 10 minutes in an otherwise wet and dreary day in Sioux Falls. (.93 inch rain)

All you have to do is drive down any street in Sioux Falls.  Tree branches can be found just about everywhere.  While the city of Sioux Falls has done a wonderful job in helping people pick up after the storm, they still are facing some lingering effects of the ice storm that hit our area in April.

One of the things the ice storms were hard on were the baseball fields at Harmondon Park in Sioux Falls.  Harmondon is a  'gem' of a facility, but the high chain link fences that are right behind home plate were 'catchers of too much ice.'  The backstop at Championship Field is down completely.  Several others are damaged as illustrated in the pic.

It was just another illustration that you don't have to look too hard to find some of the 'hangover' of the spring ice storm.   Here's hoping your 'recovering' from the ice and like us, looking forward to the warmer weather.

Here's the latest on the city's efforts to clean up.
