Drunk Driving Crash Leads to Gas Leak Near 26th Street, Grange Avenue

Sioux Falls Police say a driver was arrested for DUI after crashing into a gas meter and causing a gas leak Sunday March 1, 2015.

Police responded to the accident just before 2:45 PM near 26th Street and Grange Avenue. The crash damaged the gas meter which led to the leak in the area.

KDLT TV reports that MidAmerican Energy was called to the scene. Homes on Grange Avenue between 26th St. and 27th Street were evacuated, and the street was blocked off while repairs were made.
