Wednesday was anything but a typical night at work for a Sioux Falls hotel employee.

According to KSFY, Sioux Falls police are searching for a woman who robbed a Sioux Falls hotel at gunpoint on Wednesday night, November 20, 2019.

Officers were sent to the MyPlace Hotel around 11 p.m. at 3005 S Carolyn Ave, near 41st Street, for a report of an armed robbery.

Sioux Falls Police Public Information Officer Sam Clemens said a woman wearing black clothing and a ski mask entered the hotel lobby and threatened a hotel employee with a handgun.

Clemens said the suspect stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

No arrests have been made as of Thursday afternoon.  Police are reviewing surveillance video of the incident for leads.
