Sign Petition to Have Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl Host ‘Saturday Night Live’

Dave Grohl, frontman for the Foo Fighters, wants to host Saturday Night Live, but he says it's up to the show's creator, Lorne Michaels. Dave's fans created an online petition to bring awareness to this goal and so far it has almost 3,000 signatures.

The post at www.ipetitions.com says:

This as a petition to generate awareness to Lorne Michaels and the executives at NBC and Saturday Night Live so they know that the fans (Grohlies) want Dave Grohl to host SNL with musical guest Foo Fighters.

There have been may musicians who have hosted SNL over the years, however Dave Grohl is the only one to appear on the show over 12 times and frequent in sketches, but never host!

Let's spread the word and make this happen, this year!

The Foo Fighters are currently on tour. Dave broke his leg earlier in the tour and has been performing from a throne. Dave is a funny guy and would make a great host of Saturday Night Live.

This weekend, Saturday October 3, 2015, Miley Cyrus hosts the show and is also the musical guest.  On October 10, 2015  Amy Schumer is scheduled with music from The Weekend.  Tracy Morgan returns to host for the second time on October 17, 2015 and Demi Lovato will provide the music.
