I've been a yoga dabbler on and off for about 20 years, and like a lot of people the more consistently I do it the better I feel.

I decided last year to make yoga a regular, consistent, and routine part of my week.

There have been weeks I only made it to one class, and other weeks I've made it multiple times.

Here are a few things I've grown to love about having a regular yoga practice in my life:

-My daughter has fallen in love with yoga, and it's now become a family tradition to roll out the mats a few times a week.

-Regular yoga, and that back pain is gone, who knew?

- Meditation is tough for me to sit still and slow down the busy, noisy pace of life, but yoga has given me a space I can relax in mentally.

-I've experienced a different kind of strength, and balance, not just physically, mentally and spiritually.

-Meeting a great group of people is always a bonus.
