Results Radio Hurricane Drive for Help
Sioux Falls and the Sioux Empire have proven over and over again that there are so many generous and helpful people who always step up to the plate to help others in a time of need.
Right now, the people of Houston and the surrounding areas need your help.
Starting September 7 through September 16 Results Radio, local businesses and residents in the Sioux Empire are teaming up to do our part, collecting new clothes, new home goods and toiletries to send down to the Houston area for those in need.
Bring as much as you can! It all will be going to the many people who can use a little (or a lot) of help.
Our goal is to fill at least one semi-truck full of items over a ten day period. Those items will then be delivered to Houston.
Items include, but are not limited to:
- New Clothes (all ages)
- New Home Good (rugs, bedding, towels, cleaning supplies)
- Toiletries (feminine products, paper towels, toilet paper, toothpaste/toothbrush, soap, lotion, makeup, hair supplies, shaving items, shampoo, first aid items)
If you are not sure what to donate, the American Red Cross has put together a Hurricane Harvey "Wish List" of needed items on Amazon.
Not only are we helping out the people affected by the Hurricane and its aftermath, we are helping the animals of the area too. You can drop of pet supplies and dry food to Sioux Nation Ag Center and Pet Clinic as well.
PLEASE NO CASH DONATIONS PLEASE, ONLY GOODS LISTED
The following businesses in Sioux Falls are drop off locations for the goods needed:
- Results Radio
- Avera Heart Hospital

The Results Radio Hurricane Drive for Help will run from Thursday, September 7 - Saturday, September 16.
We call on each and everyone of you to help us out and do what you can for people and pets who need your help.
