Pat Sajak Insulted “Dancing with the Stars” Tom Bergeron Fires Back

I met Tom Bergeron, host from Dancing with the Stars, back in 2008.  I was in Las Vegas at a gathering in preparation for that years MDA Telethon.

At that time the Telethon was broadcast here in Sioux Falls on KSFY TV.  I was one of local co-hosts along with the much more talented Mitch Krebs, Nancy Naeve from KSFY, Danny Collins from KIKN radio & Jeff Harkness from B102.7.

Before this photo was take I ran into Tom Bergeron just outside the South Point convention centers casino there in Vegas.  I said "Howdy!"  He stopped and asked if I was there for the MDA gathering.  I said that indeed I was.  He then thanked me for my involvement with that great fundraiser.

I did likewise and we chatted a little more as walked together into the convention room.  He seemed like a heck of a nice guy.

This week Pat Sajak host of 'Wheel of Fortune' made a brutal crack about "Dancing with the Stars" on Twitter.

When Tom Bergeron saw it, he fired back with a few comments of his own.  You can see the exchange here:
