It feels like it has been way too long since a good concert came through Eastern Iowa.

On Saturday, February 11th, Cedar Rapids, Iowa welcomed ACM Awards winners Old Dominion. The 'One Man Band' group brought their No Bad Vibes tour to the Alliant Energy Powerhouse. This sold out show brought in fans from all over, even one group of fans who said they traveled 1,620 miles just to hear their song 'Beer Can In A Truck Bed."

This isn't the first time that this country band came through to Cedar Rapids, and it won't certainly be the last time. Read more about that here in some of our previous coverage.

In my opinion, there were two big, unexpected moments that really set it apart from other concerts.

About halfway through the show, the band members; Matthew Ramsey, Brad Tursi, Trevor Rosen, Whit Sellers, and Geoff Sprung, sat down for a relaxed set. The songs consisted of songs that they wrote for other artists. I was surprised by the number of hits they wrote for other people.

One of the other great moments happened during the encore. The very first song in the encore was a cover of the smash hit 'As It Was' by Harry Styles. We were all pleasantly surprised by the choice from the band! They did a fun country spin on the pop song that actually worked for the band!

However, it looked like lead singer Matthew didn't entirely have the song down that Saturday night! It sounded like the musician messed up right around the start of the second verse of the song.

He hilariously tried his best to keep it together after shaking his head after the flub. Ramsey chuckled through the line, "Answer the phone, Matty, you're no good alone!"

After finishing up the verse, he threw his hands up in the air, smiled, and shrugged at the audience. By the way this isn't me hating on the band! I thought his recovery was amazing!

The band finished off the night with their megahit 'I Was On A Boat That Day.'
