Monday Night Football Recap — Seahawks Hold Off Rams, 14-9
Russell Wilson threw two touchdown passes to Golden Tate, and the Seahawks' defense made a last-minute goal-line stand as Seattle beat the Rams, 14-9, in St. Louis on Monday.
Quarterback Kellen Clemens led the Rams (3-5) to a first-and-goal with 46 seconds to play, but St. Louis was unable to score a go-ahead touchdown in four chances at the end zone.
Wilson finished with 139 passing yards and the two scores to Tate, the second of which covered 80 yards and gave Seattle (7-1) a 14-6 lead with 3:45 remaining in the third quarter.
Clemens completed 15 of 31 pass attempts for 158 yards and two interceptions while starting in place of injured Rams' QB Sam Bradford. Running back Zac Stacy carried 26 times for 134 yards for St. Louis.
