I have a tendency to root for the under dog, and in the case of a movie based on a true story about a military dog named Rex, and his Marine it was easy to love.

Megan Leavey didn't do very well at the box office. It did have it's flaws, but it was worth a watch. The movie had potential, and the formula for everything I enjoy in a movie.

The rhythm of the movie seemed off at times, but overall I was glad I saw it. My daughter felt the same.

Final conclusion is that its worth a watch, and June is PTSD awareness month so if you or someone you love is struggling keep reaching out we love you.
