The 'Memory I Don't Mess With' singer can sell out concert venues across the country at the drop of a hat, but it seems like there is something special about Iowa that keeps him coming back time and time again.

Over the weekend, the country star returned to the Hawkeye State for the very first night of Country Thunder Iowa.

He is currently on his 'Label Me Proud' tour with fellow country artists Jackson Dean and Michael Ray. So, all three singers took to the stage at the Forest City festival.

Lee Brice's performance at the country festival coincided with his own birthday! You can check out how the crowd celebrated here.

Brice has been making quite a few stops here in Iowa over the past year and a half. The star apparently even hunts in the area as well!

"Some places you go there's a spirit of people know how to go to a concert," Brice said a few hours before taking to the stage in Forest City.

"Around here people are always ready to rock!"

The singer also made some waves in the Midwest when he partnered with Casey's last year. He teamed up with this beloved Iowa staple and gave someone a chance to win a concert in their hometown.

Also, do you remember walking into Casey's last summer and just seeing the giant cutouts of the country superstar?

This guy isn't just all talk when it comes to this Iowa favorite either!

No, no, no!

In an exclusive interview, Brice confirmed that he does have a favorite Casey's pizza.

"It's the taco pizza, are you kidding me? Duh..." Lee laughed. "...I got one on the bus right now from last night!"

"Second best is probably the breakfast pizza," the 'Rumor' singer said.

Well, now we HAVE to make Lee Brice an honorary Iowan!

See Inside Roseanne Barr's Eldon Mansion

Roseanne Barr was set to make a home in Iowa. She and her then-husband Tom Arnold were in the midst of building a mansion in Eldon. It was put on hold when the couple eventually split up. This left a beautiful, unfinished, and kind of spooky mansion behind.
