Jon Stork Plays The Kickin’ Country Cafe

Wednesday afternoon seemed like a good time to take a break from all the weather talk following the late night tornadoes that swept through the area. Jon Stork of Beasley, Texas proved to be a good diversion.

Stork stopped into the Kickin' 100.5 studios with guitar in hand and was more than willing to show his chops with a couple of songs performed live during The Kickn' Country Cafe. Stork grew up in the Mitchell area and also spent time in Sioux Falls before moving to the small town of Beasley, which is southwest of Houston.

A couple things caught my attention regarding Stork. The first, was the local connection. The second was the fact that one of the songs he'll be working as soon as it's released was co-written by Cody Johnson. [Playing Sanford Pentagon October 12, 2019]

I had a blast talking with Stork during the 'Cafe' Wednesday. He has a ton of energy and is  talented guy. Much like our other friends like Hailey Steele, Dustin Evans and Maria Hassel we'll be cheering them on as they chase their musical dreams.
