Embark on a Stellar Journey with Dr. Ken Murphy

The highlight of the evening is the live planetarium presentation, "From Your Backyard to the Deep Universe," led by Dr. Ken Murphy, professor of physics at Southwest Minnesota State University. This immersive journey begins with familiar night skies and travels through our solar system to Saturn and Mars before venturing to distant galaxies at the edge of the observable universe. Presentations run at 6:15 PM and 7:15 PM in the Wells Fargo CineDome and Sweetman Planetarium.

If you're feeling hungry, food is available for purchase from Parlour, featuring gourmet ice cream, popcorn, delicious wraps, sandwiches, and more.

There is even a signature cocktail for the evening - Galactic Lemonade, made with Tito's vodka,  lemonade, and an ingredient that changes the cocktail's color as it mixes, to a deep purple. Perfect for sipping while exploring the universe.
