Dunkin’ Gets Closer to Sioux Falls! 2nd South Dakota Shop Coming
I don't ask for much in life. But I do have one wish for Sioux Falls: To bring back Dunkin' and open a local shop in town. It looks like the Sioux Empire is getting closer to fulfilling my dream!
Dunkin' has announced they are opening a second South Dakota location that's only about 50 minutes south of Sioux Falls. Eeek pinch me!
Officials with Dunkin' have confirmed they are opening a new location in Vermillion, South Dakota at 414 East Clark Street. This shop will be on the University of South Dakota campus. I think I just became an honorary USD Coyote!
The plan is to open the Vermillion Dunkin' inside the Muenster University Center, which is the Student Union building. This shop will offer not just coffee, but the full Dunkin' menu. And for Coyotes studying hard, your dining dollars will be accepted!
This would be the closest Dunkin' shop near Sioux Falls. The second closest Dunkin' store to Sioux Falls is located in Holstein, Iowa. It's at a local rest stop about an hour and a half away from Sioux Falls. The new Aberdeen Dunkin' is still about three hours away from Sioux Falls.
I've been a Sioux Falls resident for eight years now (wow time flies), and historically I've always asked for a Dunkin' every time I spoke with former Sioux Falls Mayor Paul TenHaken. Now with new Mayor Christine Erickson leading our wonderful city, it's now my duty for all Sioux Falls Dunkin' fans to make this request. Mayor Erickson, can we please get a deal done with Dunkin'? Let's have Sioux Falls run on Dunkin'!
