Over the past few months Chuck Brennan has continued to close more and more of his business ventures in Sioux Falls.
Following recent news that Badlands Pawn canceled all upcoming events, there's speculation that the pawn shop may be the next business to be nixed.
On Thursday, KDLT News reported that about a dozen employees at Badlands Pawn had been laid off just this week. Half of those were a part of the Badlands Weekly television program.
Does this mean that Badlands Pawn will be shut down just after the new year? KLDT News says they did reach out to Brennan, but he stated he would neither confirm or deny the company's status.
Brennan has recently closed Badlands Speedway, Brennan Rock & Roll Academy and put his Dollar Loan Centers in the area on the market.
Brennan tells KDLT “The front door at Badlands Pawn will be open Saturday, closed Sunday for the holiday, and open again on Monday.”
