My friend Randi is one of my favorite humans on the planet, and I was having a hard time deciding what to get her when she graduated college, so I settled on bringing a shiny red apple to her party, and writing her a poem.

Everybody has a teacher or two during their life that was a game changing encounter.

The teachers that left the biggest impressions on us, are the ones who taught us more with their actions than any lesson plan could offer.

As teachers start this year bringing so may lessons to the hallways, and classrooms here is a poem filled with encouragement for the days ahead.
