Carly Pearce has released the music video for her song "Every Little Thing." Readers can press play above to watch.

"Every Little Thing" and its music video will tug at the heartstrings of anyone who has been through a difficult breakup and been forced to continue living in a place filled constant reminders of love lost. Pearce co-wrote the song with Emily Shackelton and busbee.

"The production is sparse and vulnerable and haunting. And then you look at the fact that it's a female, and it's a ballad, and it's a heartbreak song," Pearce tells Rolling Stone Country "I just feel like I've busted the door open on any sort of stereotype of what you can't break."

Since its release, "Every Little Thing" has quickly gained Pearce a following and gone on to earn the up-and-comer her first Top 20 hit on country radio. The track was inspired by a difficult breakup that Pearce went through a few years back, and while the song was pulled from a painful experience, the singer is grateful to the ex who broke her heart.

"In 2013, my [heart] was completely broken," Pearce explains in a note about the song. "Crazy to think my dark moment could spark a Top 20 hit at country radio. When I say this song changed my life -- you have no idea ... And to the guy who at one time wrecked my world -- thank you."

Pearce originally released "Every Little Thing" independently, but it saw a re-birth when she signed with Big Machine Label Group in January. This music video is the second that Pearce has released for "Every Little Thing," following a clip featuring a live version of the song, which she shared in March.

Pearce, who left high school at 16 to begin performing through a gig at Dollywood, is set to release her debut album this fall. Her rise to success has fulfilled a lifelong dream for the 27-year-old, and while she was always focused on having a career in music, the road has been long.

“I’ve never known a day where I didn’t want to be a musician,” Pearce tells People.com. "I’m 27 and I would say 22 of my years of my life have been focused on what my career could be like — and if this would ever happen.”

"Every Little Thing" is available for download via iTunes and Amazon.
