Monday, I had the opportunity to get out of town for a ride with our engineer, John. We road tripped to the transmitter site west of Sioux Falls. It's nice to get out of the office once in a while. Sure, it's nice to be at work but it's a welcome break to get in a vehicle and head out on occasion. On the way back into town we rambled down the Wall Lake Oil back into town. On the way through we noticed the sign that said Deep Honey Creek. John mentioned that he'd seen it several times but had never stopped by the stand. We were intrigued so we pulled in for a closer look.

Deep Honey Creek, it turns out is owned by Doug and Brenda. They have honey. Raw honey fro sale. According to the note on the self serve to stand the instructions read;

Enjoy your honey!! Bee Safe, Bee Well, and Bee Healthy!

Both John and I were 'cashless' so we decided that we would make a self serve honor system purchase the next time we drove out that way. I have to tell you though, it's a neat little area and a cool hometown feeling that you get when you see the sign and the self serve stop along the road. If you're ever in the area make sure you swing by Deep Honey Creek. They're on the Wall Lake Oil, just south of Wall Lake Corner.

By the way, that is an awesome picture I took with the Samsung Galaxy S10 I use courtesy of Sprint-Sioux Falls!
