This past weekend my wife and I had the opportunity to ride along to Gross, Nebraska for the 30th Anniversary Party of The Nebrask-Inn.

Over the years, I've got to know Mike, Mary and Corey, owner/operators of one of the regions most talked about fun spots. One of the reasons it's so popular is you can't get there driving on pavement.

We knew they were going to have a party right there on Main Street in Gross. They had Karaoke $2.50 burgers and $2.00 beers. Oh, we had a couple of both!

I also had the opportunity to fulfill a lifelong dream and cross another item off my bucket list I knew that you had to utter a curse word, you know, drop an F-Bomb for the opportunity to pin a dollar bill with my name on it on the roof of the Nebrask-Inn. I apologize for not only dropping the bomb, but doing it on the P.A. system they were using for the dance!

I had a chance to meet some great listeners of Kickin' Country. Some had been listening for years and I finally got a chance to meet them!  Ann, Lee and more!  Thanks!

Take a look at the photo album from the night. I forgot my phone I use courtesy of Sprint/Sioux Falls back at the cabin so P.J. was nice enough to take a few pics with his phone and send them to me.

I talked with Mary and we decided that Kickin' Country needs to get back down to Gross, NE. It was the site of the FIRST Kickin' Country Cafe we did when I was working mid-days. I told Mary that I'll to come down some Tuesday night when they do Tacos. You can bet that I'll tie it together with a long weekend or on the way to somewhere I need to be.

Gross, Nebraska. If you haven't been to the Nebrask-Inn put it on your list. And look for my dollar bill on the ceiling. Mary, Mike, Hummer or Corey will tell you where to look!
