Big Weekend for Augie Basketball

If you follow basketball you want to know 'who's got what'.  If you follow basketball you know the pecking order with ratings and rankings.  Everyone seems to know who has it going on and who doesn't.  When it comes to college basketball in the Northern Sun League there are some things that are still up in the air.  One of the things might be:  Just how good is the Augustana Men's Basketball team?

One thing we do know for sure is that if a kid can play ball, Coach Tom Billiter will find him.  I went to check out Augie the other night when they were playing Dakota State at the Elmen Center.  Augie is YOUNG right now.  They are playing a bunch of young kids, but these young kids can play!

Cameron McCaffrey is back as one of the all time leaders in scoring at Augie but you will hear a lot from young kids this year like Dan Jansen and Casey Shilling,

I enjoyed going to the game the other night and sitting at the table as Jeff Fylling did the broadcast of the game.  It was great to be down so close to the action and close to what was going on with Coach Billiter and the rest of the coaching staff.

Big Games this weekend!   Augie VS Southwest Minnesota State on Friday at 8:00 p.m. and against USF Saturday night at 6:00 p.m. at the Elmen Center.
