Back On The Beard Wagon

I came up three months shy of a full year beard. I know its not anything like carrying a baby for nine months, but it was way more than I signed up for.

I made a bet with my neighbor to see who could grow a beard for an entire year.

I lost.

After nine months of growing the beard I wasn't aware of how much washing, conditioning, beard oiling, and "excuse sir me you have some mashed potatoes in your beard" I was in for.

I haven't had hair since I was in high school, and I haven't been in high school since 96 so the upkeep on hair wore on me after while. I had grown accustomed to rolling out the bed and rolling out the door.

The beard oils I tried, and beard balms I used helped, but there where days I woke up looking like a crazy person.

One morning I had had enough and just started hacking away at the over 200 hundred days of growth. I walked out side feeling the air on my face for the first time in nine months, which was really weird.

I've decided to set out after same goal that eluded me in 2015.
