Aaliyah Moulden took on a Carrie Underwood classic and secured herself a spot on The Voice live performances during Monday's (April 10) episode.

A member of team Blake Shelton, Moulden's coach says she demonstrates "huge range," which she proved to be true when she took the stage prepared with Underwood's "Before He Cheats." Stepping out of her comfort zone, Moulden tackled the big country song with grace and power. Dressed in a pretty pink and black lace dress, Moulden owned the stage and clearly pushed herself as an artist while reaching for those big vocals. She also added a nice touch by ending the track with a series of soft notes as opposed to belting it out like the country superstar.

Fellow Shelton teammate 16-year-old Caroline Sky also stepped out of her element by taking on Etta James' "At Last." She also conquered the stage with her performance, giving it her all to honor the James' classic while adding her individual style. Both young singers earned positive remarks from the judges, with Alicia Keys calling Moulden's voice "really beautiful and strong," while saying Sky's voice lent itself to the song. Gwen Stefani gave props to Moulden for showing off a more mature side with her song selection, while coach Adam Levine raved that she "did something brilliant," calling both girls "ambitious" with their song choices.

Shelton said he respects both Moulden and Sky because of their ability to push themselves, saying Sky is capable of anything and offered Moulden a big compliment when he said it was her best performance yet. Though a tough decision, Shelton dubbed Moulden as the winner, saying it's going to be a "fun journey" working with the 15-year-old singer to figure out what kind of artist she wants to be.

The Voice airs Monday and Tuesday nights at 8PM ET on NBC.
