Woman Arrested in Mitchell Convenience Story Robbery
A woman who authorities say robbed more than $500 in cash from a convenience store in Mitchell has been arrested in western South Dakota.
Mitchell Police Sgt. Dean Knippling says the 51-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday on Interstate 90 between Wall and Rapid City. Knippling says Michelle Dunn is a former employee of the Dakota Sunset store and apparently acted alone in the robbery.
Authorities say the woman knocked on the door of the store shortly after 5:00 AM Tuesday, was let in by an employee, and then took the cash.
