Willie Nelson's got his summertime plans lined up, and it sounds like a good time. Sturgill Simpson, Elvis Costello, Alison Krauss and Old Crow Medicine Show are among the dozen or so acts who'll join the country icon during his Outlaw Music Festival Tour, which kicks off May 25 and plays a string of dates through July 1.

The tour not only offers a stellar music experience, it also focuses on local cuisine, craft beers, and artisan wares, making it a complete package for ticket holders. It additionally is a nice re-entry to touring for the nearly 85-year-old Nelson, who's recently been forced to cancel multiple dates due to the flu and respiratory issues.

“We had so much fun on the Outlaw Music Festival Tour last year that we decided to do it again," Nelson said in a statement. "See y’all out on the road this summer.”

Nelson is planning on releasing his new album, Last Man Standing, on April 27. The 11-track project arrives two days before Nelson's 85th birthday and features 11 new songs he wrote with longtime collaborator/producer Buddy Cannon. He'll additionally be playing a slate of solo dates all the way into November, health permitting.
