Willie Nelson will once again headline the Luck Reunion lineup — a single-day showcase of Nelson and an array of rising music stars, held in Spicewood, Texas, on March 15.

The showcase features more than 15 alternative country and Americana artists and is geared to attract all kinds of artists — musicians, artisans, chefs — and others who appreciate the old-school "outlaw" culture of country music and more. Nelson, who is heralded as one of the early country music outlaws, first hosted the Luck Reunion event at his Luck, Texas, ranch in Spicewood, where the event is still held today. The private ranch, which was built in the mid-1980s, is located approximately 35 miles northwest of Austin and resembles a makeshift town that was used as the set for the film adaptation of Nelson's 1975 album The Red Headed Stranger.

The full lineup includes Nelson, son Lukas Nelson and his band the Promise of the Real, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Nikki Lane, Kevin Morby, Hiss Golden Messenger, John Paul White, Kurt Vile, Ezra Furman, Blank Range, Paul Thorn, Kevin Kinney, Lily Hiatt, David Ramirez, Waxahatchee, Josh Ritter, Aaron Lee Tasjan, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, Son Little and more.

Priding itself on being an alternative event, tickets for the event are being sold in an alternative fashion. Instead of one online sale, tickets for Luck Reunion are distributed on a rolling basis via several "pop-up" sales leading up to the date. For the best chance at being notified of these sales, follow Luck Reunion on its social media channels or join the email list at the Luck Reunion website.

The event launches in the middle of South by Southwest in Austin, which takes place March 9-18. Nelson recently canceled all of his February 2018 tour dates to recover from the flu, but seems to be on the mend — his son shared this photo of the 84-year-old icon kickboxing.
