It seems appropriate that with the new Toy Story 4 movie in theaters, the Siouxland Heritage Museums would host a toy exhibit.  Now at the Old Courthouse Museum, you can look for the toys you had as a kid or see toys that your parents might have played.  There's most likely going to be some toy there that will take you back to a simpler time.

As a child of the eighties, I had a large Transformers collection.  If I knew then what I know now, I would have kept them in the box and in some airtight chamber.  Some first-generation Transformers, like Optimus Prime, that is still new in the box can sell for the same price as a nice used car!

The Old Courthouse Museum toy exhibit shows us that while the toys may have changed over the years, a good toy will both entertain and educate children.

The exhibit is open daily through August 17, 2019, and is free.
