Wednesday Is Special For Sioux Falls Moms

Some special moms get to participate on Mom’s Day Out on the Farm tour, happening Wednesday July 23. South Dakota Farm Families and CommonGround have partnered to host summer bus tours since 2010.

30 Sioux Falls moms will have the opportunity to visit a egg laying farm, a beef feed yard, and a dairy.  Throughout the day, experts will also be on hand to answer any questions the moms may have.

Dr. Coral Dorn, from the Dell Rapids Vet Clinic, will be the featured speaker and talk to the moms about the choices they make in the grocery store.

Agriculture is our state’s number one industry and each South Dakota farmer grows enough food to feed 155 people for a year.
