Voter Feature: Clinton Supporter Madison Wilson Says ‘Do the Most Good’
Is we get closer to election day, we're featuring voters and their stories.
Madison Wilson, a student at Augustana University who moved to South Dakota from Maryland, says she’s made up her mind and describes why she’s voting for Hillary Clinton:
Because I think she is the most qualified candidate we have and she stands by values that I really admire. I think she’s the best choice and she’s a good choice.
Wilson says there are important issues for our country to decide:
We’ve talked about reforming health care. I think it’s not been talked about, but I think the potential for Supreme Court Justices is something that will become a present issue and is in the back of everyone’s mind.
And the debates have been getting more attention.
I think the debates are more interesting this year because a lot of debates don’t have a significant impact in the numbers, but with such a unique campaign that’s been run and the prevalence of social media on life, it’s been a bigger impact and it’s been very interesting to watch and I can’t wait to see what the next ones have.
The next presidential debate is next Wednesday the 19th at 8:00 pm central at University of Nevada in Las Vegas.
