Mother, Son Arrested After Threatening Repo Man with Gun
A Sioux Falls man and his mother are both charged after a vehicle repossession went bad Monday evening.
Police say they were called at 7:46 PM after a man said he had been threatened with a handgun as he tried to repossess a vehicle near 14th and Minnesota.
The vehicle was located and officers made a traffic stop at 28th and Minnesota, and they found two people, drug-related items and a loaded handgun in the vehicle.
Eighteen-year-old Justus Zafft was charged with aggravated assault and both he and his mother, 52-year-old Lesa Zafft, were charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute, ingestion and misdemeanor possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
