Captain Jason Gearman of the Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office says the public helped in finding suspects in connection with a credit card skimming investigation.

"An alert citizen and an employee in a Walmart called in about the same time. Sioux Falls Police were able to apprehend two people that were involved in using the credit cards at Walmart. Same two people we put out the description of. One of them with white glasses. They were able to find him with that."

Gearman says a search of their car resulted in obtaining a number of credit cards.

"We found the vehicle they were in and conducted a search warrant on the vehicle Tuesday morning. We located about fifty more credit cards. We don't know how many victims are out there. It's hard to tell if they have used the credit cards or not. It was a fairly organized group of individuals. These are only two that have been identified.

Gearman identified the two suspects as 30-year-old Dairon Rodriguez and 25-year-old Darcy Quintero. Both of them are from Cuba.
