All right Travis Tritt fans...get ready for new music!

The two-time Grammy award winner will release his new single, "Ghost Town Nation" on Friday, September 25th.  This single will be the first off of Travis' highly-anticipated upcoming album, which is produced by Dave Cobb.  This isn't Cobb's first rodeo.  He has a long history of working with legendry and rising country artists including John Prine, The Oak Ridge Boys, Shooter Jennings, Jason Isbell, Chris Stapleton, and Brandi Carlile.

According to a recent press release, "Ghost Town Nation" is full of energy and talks about how to find the good in bad situations that life throws your way.  It's almost like the saying, "When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade."  This song is about running to a place where you can escape reality and think of the simpler things in life, such as fishing, sitting by an open fire, and even a little moonshine.   Here's a little sneak peek of a line in the upcoming single:

"Well, I tell ya one thing that we all got in common; we ain’t gotta worry when the sky starts fallin', No need to panic when the lord comes callin', cause it’s all just a part of the show."

Written by Aaron Raitiere and JB Strauss, "Ghost Town Nation" was born.  Travis was immediately sold on the song.  In fact, Travis thinks this song could not have happened at a better time with everything going on in the world.  In the press release, Tritt explains:

“I loved the overall groove of the song when I first heard the demo, but what really hooked me was the lyrics. At a time when so much of the country was on pandemic lockdown, I think the idea of escaping to a secluded spot in the woods was very appealing for a lot of folks. It reminded me of a 'country folks can survive' theme. I personally know a lot of folks that still do this regularly.”
