You might see a very recognizable time-travelling DeLorean roll into Sioux Falls this weekend for SiouxperCon.

Terry and Oliver Holler are traveling "to the future" in their DeLorean Time Machine - that they built - through all 50 states to raise awareness and funding for Parkinson's Research. Their mission is called, ‘To The Future’ and 100% of the donations collected will benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, through Team Fox.

According to thier website, tothefuture.org, approximately 60,000 people are diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease each year, and many more cases go undetected.

Oliver also has a miraculous story to share. He was diagnosed with terminal cancer and was given six months to live. He proudly writes, 'I'm still around - and quite blessed!" and is fulfilling his dream of visiting all 50 states raising awareness and money for Parkinson's research.

When you see this iconic automobile roll into Sioux Falls this weekend, give them a hearty wave and a honk. Get your photo taken with the DeLorean, and thank them for all the work their doing for this worthy cause, and throw a few bucks in.

If you can't make it to SiouxperCon this weekend, you can still help the cause by donating here.

SiouxperCon 2017 is held May 12-14 at the Best Western Plus Ramkota Hotel in Sioux Falls.

SiouxperCon is free for anyone 10 years of age and under with adult supervision and don't we all need a little of that?
