‘The Voice’ Season 5 Premieres

Earning an Emmy for Best Reality Competition, the 4 original judges on The Voice are back and turning chairs for their favorite singers. After opening the show with a cover of "I Love Rock and Roll", the blind auditions began Monday night for judges Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, Ceelo Green and Adam Levine. With already three wins to his credit, Blake says it's like having the old band back together.

Even though he did quite a bit of campaigning for his team, Blake was only able to recruit 21 year old Shelbie Z., a hair stylist and part-time pageant coach. Shelbie sang Gretchen Wilson’s 'Here For The Party.'  Even though the chairs of Christina and Ceelo both turned for Shelbie, it was obvious she was Team Blake.

Totals at the end of the first night of blind auditions:  Team Ceelo and Team Christina both with 2, Team Adam has 3 and Team Blake has 1.
