Fall is a wonderful time of year. Especially this one, with it staying so nice outside.

As the seasons change, so do our appetites. All summer, all I can think of is firing up the grill and doing up some steaks or burgers.

But in the fall, I think of raking leaves on a chilly late afternoon. Then heading inside to a roast in the oven that is done to the point of falling apart.

The aroma you experience as soon as you open the house door is priceless. Along with the roast you of course have potatoes and vegetables.

I actually did a survey with my audience and found that spaghetti was the the most popular fall dinner choice. And chili came in second.

But my favorite fall dinner memory isn't the food. It was hearing my mom's voice telling me it was time to come in and eat supper.
