Hopefully, I don't jinx us by saying that winter is winding down, but I'm ready for it to go away. I think a lot of South Dakotans are ready to say good riddance to this long winter! Those who like winter, let me just ask, haven't you had enough?

I am well aware that this article may be a little early and there is probably at least one more huge snowstorm in our future. What is nice about March is that even if we get another 12 inches, the snow won't be around long. Just look at the progress that has been made on the snow that is on the ground now. A lot has melted in the last month.
