With the holiday season right around the corner, is giving a gift card a good choice? Consumer Reports says you may be giving more than you realize.

Yes, they take the guess work out of color or size, but gift cards are not the gift that keeps on giving.

Most people would rather have a gift. But if you do give a gift card, at least think it thru
