The Sioux Falls Banquet just got the bird 52 times from the National Wild Turkey Federation, and they're extremely thankful!

Again this year the East Dakota Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation donated 52 turkeys to the Banquet just in time for Thanksgiving.

KDLT News is reporting this poultry partnership has been going strong for the past five years. The Target stores actually climbed on board the turkey train for the first time this year to help out those in need this Thanksgiving in the Sioux Empire.

Ron Schauer with the East Dakota Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation told KDLT News, “We just feel it’s a good thing to give back to those that are in need or just simply don’t have the means this time of year.”

The Sioux Falls Banquet wants to remind its guests that breakfast will not be served on Thanksgiving day. However, the turkey and all the trimmings will be on the table from 6 to 7:30 that evening.
