South Dakota’s Top ‘Dream Car’ Is…

What's your favorite dream car?  If you are a resident of South Dakota, there's a good chance it's a Chevy Camaro.  That's according to a completely unscientific survey done by Autowise.  I can already hear the Mustang and Challenger fans grumbling!

The Camaro is also the favorite in North Carolina and Texas.  Texas?  Shouldn't the top 'dream car' in Texas be a pick-up?  Again, an unscientific survey.

GearPatrol is reporting that Autowise used geotagging of Twitter data over three months and tracked the mentions of 'dream car' and #dreamcar and which car was mentioned in conjunction with those terms.  In other words, take the results with a grain of salt.

The top 'dream car' in the surrounding states are:

• North Dakota and Wyoming - Range Rover
• Nebraska and Iowa - Ford Mustang
• Minnesota - Tesla Model S

The Tesla Model S claims the title of America's top dream car for 2019, grabbing 20 states.  The Mustang is favored in 13 states, Range Rover in 6, Jeep Wrangler and Chevy Corvette in 4 and the Camaro in 3.

Sorry South Dakota pick-up fans, maybe next year.
