South Dakota Singers Round at Icon Lounge

Three of our favorite local artists are coming back to Sioux Falls, South Dakota for an evening of storytelling and singing. See Hailey Steele, Maria Hassel, and Tyler David at The Icon Lounge in Sioux Falls. This is an all-ages performance that is set to start at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 26, 2019.  Admission is $10 at the door.

We first met Maria Hassel [Maria-Maria] when she first started as an intern here at Kickin' 100.5. She later helped Trav when he was doing the morning show here at Kickin' 100.5. Hassel is a singer-songwriter who also loves her other job being a nanny in Nashville, Tennesee.

Tyler David is originally from Canton, South Dakota. He also has stopped into the radio station and shared his music with us. Maria said that Tyler has been busy writing and performing and mentioned that his music has morphed into more of the traditional realm. We're anxious to hear his music at the Icon.

I first met Hailey Steele quite a few years ago. I believe she was a 5th grader, waiting in line for Faith Hill Tickets with her family at Lewis Drug. I was there talking to people waiting to buy tickets (before they buy your tickets online days) and remember people being blown away when she sang right there in line! Hailey has been writing, touring and traveling and we look forward to seeing her too!

The three of them have been doing the 'Nashville Grind' writing songs and traveling around the nation doing what the love to do, write and sing country music. We hope that you can find

Tuesday night you can catch the three of them together on stage, telling the stories behind their music and then sharing them with you in song. I caught up with Maria Hassel on the phone this past week and she mentioned that they may even have a surprise or two which includes the three of them singing together.
