Sioux Falls Woman Attacked by Intruder, Transient Arrested
A Sioux Falls woman says she was attacked over the weekend by a man who walked into her apartment through an unlocked door.
Officer Sam Clemens says it was around 8:30 PM Friday when the woman heard someone walk into her apartment in the 300 block of South Summit Avenue.
Clemens says the woman had been expecting a relative to stop by, but the intruder turned out to be someone she didn't know:
Clemens says the suspect, a 29-year-old transient named Kyle Cleveland Bluebird, was located a short distance away. He was charged with aggravated assault and unlawful occupancy.
