Shania Twain Adds Iowa Stop To Her Global Tour
Man! I feel like we've got something to celebrate!
On October 28th, Shania Twain dropped a major announcement. Not only is she releasing a new album, but the 'Main! I Feel Like A Woman!' singer will be embarking on a global tour next year.
On December 6th, she announced new stops for this massive musical event.
'Queen of Me,' the title of her new record (and her world tour) is set to be released on February 3rd, 2023.
"Life is short and I want to be uplifted, colorful, unapologetic and empowered. I want to carry a clear message, particularly as a woman, to always remember my power and I hope the songs are a reminder to you, of that same power inside you!''
Due to the sheer amount of demand to see the country superstar and all of the sold-out shows on this tour, Twain will be adding NINETEEN additional stops. This comes after the star already announced LAST week that there would be just FIVE new shows for this tour.
In a tweet that came out Tuesday morning, she said;
"I'll be kissing my horses goodbye in April because mamma's going on the road for the entirety of 2023!"
One of the twenty-four recently added shows includes one concert in Iowa. The Des Moines show is slated for November 3rd, 2023 at the Wells Fargo Arena.
Tickets for the show will go on sale December 16th at 10 AM local time.
An Iowa native is set to join Twain on a leg of the tour you can read more about the rising country star, Hailey Whitters, who will be opening for the five-time Grammy Award winner at nine of her shows here.
There is no word if Whitters will be joining Shania Twain at her Iowa show.
